Last time I made view B of Simplicity 2451.
This time I tackled View A in a wool blend coating fabric I got from Fabric.com. Last time it took me 14 hours to make this. This time it took me about 10 hours and I added a lining. 1.5 hours of that was wasted on ripping out and redoing the lining. I think next time I could get it down to 8 hours.
I was going to use a cheap polyester lining but I decided to use a heart adorned peachskin fabric for the pockets and yoke lining. It adds a nice contrast and I'm happy I spent the extra time to redo it.
I was really happy with the fit. I cut a straight 8 and didn't need to make any adjustments. Last time the yoke took me over 3 hours to figure out and this time I got it easily.
I like it, but I'm not sure how often I would wear it. It's a little too puffy for me. It looks fine in the pictures but I had to keep pushing the front down.
